Thanks, my wife was concerned that I was insulting much of our family. I was concerned that my real meaning wasn't conveyed properly, part of my illiterat-ness! I hope no one is insulted by this article. It was written to give sports fan a different view. :D

Tony, I'm a huge sports fan, but I don't have any problem with what you have written. All you are really saying is that it's not for you and that's fine. As a long time sports fan, I have scaled back my viewing, simply because there is more to life and I spend plenty of time with it as it is. Plus, years of listening to and watching Raider fans make asses of themselves made me realize that an obsession with sports can be unhealthy.

Watching TV last night I see (in my peripheral vision) that crap ad that takes up 1/3 of the screen (you know bottom part of the screen) and I ignore it. Then I hear this beeping noise. Sounds like an alarm going off upstairs. I think it is strange (since it was 2am). Then I hear it again. After about the 3rd time I realize it is coming from the TV and it is being played each time the bull sh*t ad is popping up at the bottom of the screen. HA! I still didn't look at the ad!

apple = style over substance, BMW get away with it and so did Bang & Olufsen in the 70's. If people want to squander money let them, but when they try and make you feel inferior to them for not having their apple toys then I start to get riled. Apple will move on to some new fad before long, something originally designed by a different company at Palo Alto and then pretend they were there first. Ha ha ha ... mac douches of the world unite.

Last night I was watching a show as it was being broadcast. I just couldn't STAND to sit through the commercials! So instead of flipping back and forth I just hit the record button on the DVR and then found something else to watch for 15 or 20 minutes. You know flipping around. Then I went back to the show I was watching and skipped all the DAMN! commercials. Double fast forward then hit the 7 second rewind when I see the show is back on! This can't be good news for the companies selling the content, the companies showing the content. Sooner or later everything will have to be pay per view, or purchase like we do with DVD/HD discs.

I often bust out laughing at commercials at other peoples homes and they are like "I can't believe you haven't seen that, it's on all the time!". Makes me want to watch some commercials just to be back in the loop. Almost.

That can be very frustrating. Sometimes guys don't like doing things that they know they are "supposed" to do. At least that is the way I was when I was younger. Hell even now come to think of it.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I wrote this article in the hopes for a better understanding. That's the great thing about expressing and receiving opinions. I still fail to understand why the tattoos would be for you. What does it do for you? Perhaps this is too personal a question, or answer to reveal openly. I seem to be dumb about somethings, but I'm always curious. Anyone that doesn't discipline their child the best way they see fit as a parent is a fool.

I agree. I am in fact a tattooed woman. For the most part, you can't see my tattoos. I believe there is a time and place for that. I didn't get my tattoos to make a statement or impress someone, my tattoos are for and always have been for me. It make me no less a woman, daughter, up standing citizen or great person. I'm a firm believer in not judging a book by its cover. When you start doing that you miss out on some of the best ppl that anyone could have asked for.

Now language...yes, I use very colorful language. No I wasn't raised that way. It was drilled into my head at a young age " girls just don't do that, it's un-lady like." Yet at family functions when all of the female members were together, there was a few choice words used. Somehow over the years woman have begun to speak our minds without censoring our words. It happens. It's more a society issue. We have dropped the ball on a lot if things, like making it ok to wear our pants down past our butts and girls dressing like hookers. It's a change in our way of living, just like growing up we were discipline, now a days, you mention spanking a child you are labeled a bad parent.

Did the same thing with my old IDE 160gb when I got my SATA 1tb. Just Turn the external drive on and do a boot-time scan with your antivirus and antimalware programs, that's what I did.
